My dad needs to run an astonishing program called <a href='http://www.ihs.com/products/oil-gas-information/analysis-software/petra.aspx">PETRA</a>. Basically, it is a program started in the early 90's by a geologist who knows programming to help map well logs. As people used it, he added onto it. At this point, the program has NEVER been rewritten, they just keep addin and adding. So, it needs a nice monitor and massing processing and memory capabilities, and probably a decent graphics card since it has very detailed maps. Any suggestions??
